Seda is our exceptional Practice Manager and Treatment Coordinator, bringing over 20 years of invaluable experience in the medical and health industry—all right here in Wollongong. Her deep understanding of the local medical community makes her an indispensable asset. Collaborating closely with Dr Starr, Seda plays a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive top notch care. From addressing inquiries to coordinating with hospitals, scheduling surgeries, and managing post operative appointments, she’s committed to smoothing out your journey. Seda’s passion lies in making a positive impact on our patients’ lives, dedicated to ensuring your experience with us is nothing short of excellent. Outside of work, she cherishes quality moments with family and friends outdoors. Your journey with us is in capable and caring hands with Seda at the helm.

Margaret is a valued member of our front desk team. With nearly 15 years of experience in medical reception, Margaret is an indispensable part of our patient care system. Her commitment to delivering exceptional care is palpable in every task she undertakes. Whether scheduling appointments or addressing inquiries, Margaret’s expertise ensures that each patient’s experience is seamless and stress free.

Outside of work, Margaret finds joy in outdoor pursuits like hiking, kayaking, and camping. In quieter moments, she indulges in her love for knitting and reading

Ali

Practice Nurse

Ali is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years’ experience in post-operative care across a range of specialties, including plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, and ear, nose and throat (ENT).

In 2015, she undertook further study and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Stomal Therapy, progressing to the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist in this field.

After returning to work in 2021 following the birth of her two children, Ali moved into a management position, where she led a team during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since returning to clinical practice in 2024, Ali has remained passionate about patient care, with a continued focus on post-operative recovery and support.

Olivia

Practice Nurse

Olivia is one of our enthusiastic practice nurses, working alongside Dr Starr to ensure high quality patient care. Her vibrant personality lights up the room and immediately makes you feel welcomed as you walk into our practice.

Trained as a Registered Nurse with a background in Surgical and Practice Nursing, Olivia’s dedication and passion in the Plastic Surgery patient journey and recovery will transfer from her work. From assisting in skin cancer procedures, managing wounds, and aiding in scar therapy, she has built up an abundance of knowledge and skill throughout her nursing career. Olivia’s compassionate care and focus on patient safety will ensure you feel comfortable throughout your visit.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and dogs, and furthering her studies in pursuing her aesthetic career.

Dr Bernard Roach

Anaesthetist - MBBS (hons), PGclinUS, FANZCA

Bernard obtained his medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2009 and completed his speciality training in anaesthesia in 2017. He currently works across multiple hospitals in Sydney and the Illawarra area.

In addition to clinical anaesthesia, he is also a supervisor of training for junior doctors at Wollongong Public Hospital, and a representative on the medical advisory committee at Wollongong Private Hospital.

He lives in the Wollongong area with his wife and three children.

Dr Victoria Sabbouh

Anaesthetist - Med.Sci, MBBS, FANZCA, GradCert HSE

Victoria obtained her medical degree from the University of Notre Dame (Sydney) in 2011. She worked across multiple hospitals in NSW as a junior doctor before commencing her anaesthetic training at Liverpool Hospital, NSW. She was fortunate enough to undertake her fellowship, in her last year of training, at Wollongong Hospital and achieved specialist qualification in 2019.

Victoria has a special interest in complex airway management and simulation education. She holds the position of Airway Lead at Wollongong Public Hospital and is the anaesthetic representative on the Patient Care Review Committee at Wollongong Private Hospital.

Victoria prides herself on getting to know her patients and walking them through their perioperative journey. She lives in the Wollongong area with her husband and their dog, Molly.

Dr Murray Campbell

Anaesthetist - B.Physio, MBBS, FANZCA

After completing a Physiotherapy degree in 2001, Murray returned to Wollongong University to complete his Medical Degree in 2010.

He commenced speciality anaesthesia training in 2014, culminating in a cardiac anaesthesia fellowship in London, Ontario in 2018-2019.

Murray now practices both publicly and privately in the Illawarra-Shoalhaven region, with subspecialty interests in plastics, orthopaedics and cardiothoracic surgery. He is motivated by tailoring his anaesthetic care to the individual patient medical needs and their peri-operative goals.

Outside work, three teenage boys and a brown labrador keep Murray and his wife busy in Kiama.
